Sacramento CA is famous because of the Gold Rush-era. Now, iMIS users were treated to truly Gold Rush-level iMIS education and presentations. This summer’s NiUG conference was full of great learning opportunities for the iMIS community and naturally, NimbleUser was involved every step of the way.
On the first day of the conference I gave bucket loads of educational gold when I presented both of the iMIS 101 training sessions.

  • iMIS 101 – A/R Cash and Billing
  • iMIS 101 – Customer and Events

Then over the next two days of the conference gold prospecting hit a fever pitch. There were lots of iMIS users panning for gold yesterday morning when I gave a breakout session presentation on “Building Blocks of a Complete Customer Record”. People left that session with big blocks of gold. No one could leave the conference empty handed. So when I co-presented the closing general session on “Fringe Elements of iMIS” I made sure everyone had some gold before the mine was officially closed.

To make this conference even more spectacular was the Tuesday night networking dinner. To put it mildly, it was a dinner to die for. For the first time, the NiUG dinner was a murder mystery dinner theater event and it was spectacular. I think everyone will agree that it was the best evening event NiUG has ever put on. Everyone got in on the show … plotting, backstabbing, and murder. It was a great evening out with many iMIS friends.
Please mark your calendar now for the next NiUG conference that will surely be another outstanding event. This fall’s conference will be on September 27-29, 2010 at the new Gaylord Hotel on the National Harbor. The complete agenda for that conference will be announced shortly. Everyone here at NimbleUser hopes to see you at another NiUG conference soon.
