A look back at Nimble AMS in 2020: Rapid growth and new capabilities for associations

The year 2020 was unprecedented, and many faced personal and professional challenges that no one expected. However, many also found ways to be successful in spite of the challenges, and there are successes and silver linings to build on for 2021.

At Nimble AMS, we were working hard to keep up the momentum with our products and initiatives for the association industry. Recently, we:

  • reached new Salesforce partner status
  • launched new virtual networking capabilities

Here are some details:

Nimble AMS is now a Summit partner with Salesforce

Nimble AMS also reached the top level of partnership (Summit) within the Salesforce AppExchange Partner Program. To reach this status, partners must exhibit outstanding ratings across the categories of Customer Success, Innovation, and Engagement. Nimble AMS is the only association management software (AMS) on Salesforce with this top-tier designation.

And just to brag a bit more, Nimble AMS has:

  • a 5-star Salesforce AppExchange rating
  • 94 percent customer support satisfaction
  • 97 percent customer retention

As part of our ongoing partnership, Salesforce joined the Nimble AMS team to present a lunch-and-learn session at the Community Brands Xperience virtual conference in January 2021. The session covered membership trends, including how the membership industry is evolving and new tools and capabilities available to help meet members’ changing expectations.

New virtual networking capabilities in Nimble AMS

The Nimble AMS team launched new capabilities focused on helping associations evolve as member preferences change due to the pandemic. These include the launch of Nimble Communities, an online member community for virtual networking, and Nimble AMS Chapters, an engagement and management tool for chapters.

Community Brands research shows that one of the primary reasons members join an association is for networking opportunities. Nimble Communities helps associations to facilitate and elevate social networking among their members, even when in-person events aren’t feasible.
