Last Saturday, the NimbleUser team rolled up our sleeves, put on some funny-looking shoes and went bowling for a good cause. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester  (BBBS) hosted their annual fundraiser, “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” at Clover Lanes in Pittsford, NY. The money raised goes “directly toward matching children with carefully-screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers” and is one of their major fundraisers for the year. The staff at NimbleUser signed up as a team and collectively raised $1265 for this great cause. We would like to extend a special thanks to Sheri Walker, Director of Operations and Tina Christensen, Executive Director of BBBS for organizing this event.
Some of the highlights of the day:

  • Janan, Project Manager, provided excellent advice to me on how to tune out the other bowlers and focus on getting a strike.
  • Sig VanDamme, Founder, managed to get a strike while bowling left handed (his right hand was injured).
  • Craig Ceremuga, Developer, was a bowling force to be reckened with (he has serious bowling skills)!
  • Adam Carey, Consultant, perfected the art of throwing (not rolling) a bowling ball down the lane.
