ROCHESTER, NY (March 4, 2016) Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce celebrated its new brand and launched its new website at an event attended by about 300 people at the Legacy Tower Wintergarden. Marketing firm Dixon Schwabl, a Rochester Chamber Partner member, designed the new logo and the www.GreaterRochesterChamber.com website, supported by Nimble AMS (Association Management Software).

Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy said, “This new website is a visual proclamation that change is happening at Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. We hope our new brand and website help businesses across the nine-county Finger Lakes region understand that we are eager to help lead the economic resurgence of Greater Rochester. Just like our region is poised for growth, our new website was built as a platform for growth, with increased integration and functionality to come in the months ahead.”

www.GreaterRochesterChamber.com features a welcoming and tone-setting highlight video that rotates on the homepage, innovative sticky vertical navigation, long-scrolling digestible content formatting, a streamlined delivery of information, and responsive design that makes the site fun to explore on any device.

Dixon Schwabl CEO Lauren Dixon, a Rochester Chamber board member, said, “There’s a new energy and spirit of growth in the region. We wanted to capture that excitement with the launch of a fresh logo and more powerful and useful website. It’s more than a name change. It’s promotion of the regional chamber. The new brand and website showcase all of the Finger Lakes region’s nine counties.”

Rochester Chamber member NimbleUser created Nimble AMS, the Association Management System that supports www.GreaterRochesterChamber.com on the Salesforce App Cloud. Nimble AMS allows Rochester Chamber to take management of its membership and events to a higher level.

NimbleUser Chief Customer Officer Sigmund VanDamme said, “NimbleUser, the creators of Nimble AMS and a longtime Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce member, is excited to partner with Rochester Chamber during this transformation. With Nimble AMS, Rochester Chamber is better positioned to serve its members now and into the future.”

The former Rochester Business Alliance returned to its roots to become Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce in January. The Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce merged with the Industrial Management Council in 2003 to form Rochester Business Alliance. The new www.GreaterRochesterChamber.com website is the first major online upgrade since RBA launched its site in 2006.
