Summary

The North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) is a collaborative umbrella organization for North American cancer registries, governmental agencies, professional associations, and private groups interested in improving the quality and use of cancer registry data. 

NAACCR needed a more advanced system with strong integration abilities for complex third-party systems, including eight cancer surveillance tools.

Challenges

NAACCR’s legacy system and lack of continuous upgrades left staff and members with a negative experience, restricted research and development investment, and an inconsistent release schedule. Members were unable to navigate their own journey in the member portal and staff had difficulty pulling reports and completing simple tasks.

Results

After switching to Nimble AMS, NAACCR has greatly improved the staff and member experience. With Nimble AMS, they can now leverage a member portal that is intuitive and user-friendly, driving more members to resolve their own issues without staff guidance.
